Mississauga, ON – Amrit Mangat, MPP for Mississauga–Brampton South, celebrated Seniors Month at Neebin Park in Mississauga.
June is Seniors Month in Ontario, and MPP Mangat spoke to the local residents about what the provincial government is doing for seniors.
Ontario government is proposing to help the community in all regions of the province by providing seniors 65 and over with a new Ontario Seniors Public Transit Tax Credit.
To improve the care and quality of life for those living in long-term care, we are encouraging operators to redevelop more than 30,000 beds.
The weather was pleasant on Friday afternoon – with ample sunshine and a comfortable breeze helped make the event more enjoyable!
