Over $1 Million in OTF Funding for Heart House Hospice in Mississauga - Brampton South

On Monday, June 20, 2016, Heart House Hospice – located in the riding of Mississauga – Brampton South – received $1,029,200 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), for three initiatives:

  • Health and Wellness
  • Help Us Understand Grief (HUUG)
  • Hospice Counselling

These grants are extended over three years, and thousands of individuals in both Mississauga and Brampton will be positively affected.  Organizations such as Heart House Hospice care for people living with illness, and such grants allow programs to be extended and strengthened for those who need them.

“As an organization dedicated to assisting palliative care patients and their loved ones with excellent health and wellness, bereavement, spiritual and counseling services, Heart House Hospice richly deserves the generous support of the Brampton and Mississauga communities.”
